Day 1

Belgrade Arrival
Upon arrival in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, you will be welcomed by your driver and escorted to your hotel. During the short ride from the Nikola Tesla airport, sit back, relax and enjoy the sights of New Belgrade with its prominent ‘blocks’ – a classic example of Socialist architecture, built after World War II – and modern business centres, including the imposing Ušće Tower. Along the way, your guide will show you and tell some stories about the Western Gate of Belgrade, the famous Belgrade Arena and the monumental Palace of Serbia. Check-in at your hotel.
Sightseeing: Belgrade Panoramic Tour
Belgrade Panoramic tour starts at Knez Miloš Street that has the remains of Serbian General Staff partially destroyed during NATO bombing in 1999. You will visit the complex of Yugoslavian History Museum. Memorial complex is devoted to the history of Yugoslavia with a special emphasis on life and deeds of Josip Broz Tito.

The tour continues to Saint Sava Temple, which is our next stop, and will pass by the stadium of FC Crvena Zvezda (Red Star), former European Football Championship and World Cup champions. Saint Sava Church, symbol and patron of Belgrade, is a beautiful building that can be seen from any part of the capital, will amaze you. On the plateau in front of the Temple is a monument dedicated to Karađorđe Petrović, leader of the First Serbian Uprising, and the Serbian National Library.

The panoramic tour proceeds to one of the most famous squares of Belgrade – Slavija Square that leads us to the centre of the city. Via Resavska Street we get to Saint Mark’s Church that keeps the relic of Tsar Dušan, the most powerful ruler in the history of Serbia. We will also see splendid edifices of Serbian National Parliament, Old and New Palace, which is now the City Parliament and the President’s residency. We will pass the Republic Square that is supposed to be the most central point of Belgrade and drive through Dorćol quart, the oldest part of the city, which will lead us to the Belgrade Fortress and Kalemegdan Park. With a relaxing walk on Kalemegdan to the Victor monument we will end our tour. This is the very place that has an unforgettable view over the city and the point where Sava and Danube rivers meet.
Gastronomy: Skadarlija Bohemian Quarter Welcome Dinner
Later on get ready and head towards the bohemian heart of Belgrade – Skadarlija. In a charming 19th century cobbled street you will enjoy delicious Serbian specialties while listening to traditional music. Overnight.

Day 2

Activity: Dragon Boat Race or Belgrade Quest

Breakfast.

Option 1.
Come along for a day of competition and adventure as we race with our dragon boats on the Sava river, enjoying the outdoors and plenty of sunshine. We will have two rowing teams, competing for the first place, so bring your best energy and A game in order to take the win. Enjoy an exciting sport activity, nature, friends and beautiful sights as you smoothly glide along the river. It will be a great day for teamwork and excitement, as the fastest team takes the first place and the prize. Ready, set, GO!

Option 2.
Belgrade quest is game similar to classical treasure hunt that will allow participants to explore the city through different tasks, riddles and challenges. The goal is to collect answers which will lead them through time and space. There is no need for special equipment – just comfortable shoes, wit and creativity. In order to gather points and win, team has to solve brain teasers, discover hidden details on specific locations or complete a challenge. And record it all with a camera! Good teams quickly realize that everyone must participate as each team member has different skills and talents. While Belgrade quest lasts participants will see something new, discover fun facts and have a great time.
Experience: Rakija Tasting
After lunch, experience Rakija tasting. What is wine for Frenchmen, beer for British, or vodka for Russians, Rakija is for Serbia. Authentic Serbian product, Rakija, is fruit brandy that may be even 55-60% strong! It is made of local fruits, first of all from plum, apple, raspberry, grape, apricot, pear… It has special taste when tried with cheese, smoked meet and similar specialties. After tasting this liquid gold and getting acquainted with the technology of production of one of the most famous brands of rakija, you will surely be able to say that you know what Serbian hospitality and local spirit are, literally and metaphorically.
Experience: Traditional Folklore Night
In the evening, your guide will take you for a traditional dinner followed by a famous Serbian Folklore show. An authentic Serbian folklore show is full of color, from the beautiful craftsmanship in the traditional wear, the cheerful choreography accompanying the vibrant melodies, and the happy smiles of the dancers that brighten any room they walk into. The best part is, you will have the unique opportunity to savour the most delicious dishes in the Balkans, while having a fully immersive experience observing the spectacular “kolo” dance being performed. Representing joy and unity, it is the most prominent dance at weddings and family celebrations in Serbia. Overnight.

Day 3

Activity: Fruška Gora Jeep Safari or Outdoor Shooting Experience
Breakfast. Depart towards Northern Serbia.

Option 1.
You will have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the Pannonian mountain from an absolutely unique perspective, during an exciting jeep safari throughout the mountain. Through OFF road tracks, we will travel in nature and discover the most spectacular viewpoints of this mountain, beautiful monasteries, and meadows. Our adventurous trip will lead us to a winery where we will try a variety of local, authentic wines, and a delicious lunch. Prepare for a day full of adventure, excitement, team bonding, nature, and of course wonderful food to accompany it all.

Option 2.
Enjoy trying out a range of guns during this unique outdoor shooting experience. Shooting in a beautiful location near Belgrade, you will be able to enjoy stunning surroundings and plenty of fresh air as you get to grips with a variety of guns. Under expert tuition you will be in the best hands possible, and if you have never shot before you will be surprised at how quickly you can pick it up! This is a great opportunity to experience the extreme thrill of shooting in a controlled outdoors environment.
Experience: Sremski Karlovci Sightseeing with Wine Tasting
The tour continues on to the town of Sremski Karlovci. A real gem of Serbian culture and spirituality, Sremski Karlovci feels like a ‘museum town’ with its Baroque centre, the Patriarchal Court, the Orthodox Cathedral of Saint Nicholas and the first Serbian secondary school (gymnasium). It is also famous for wine production and the town’s annual Wineball festival. The vicinity of the Danube and the light reflexion create an exceptional micro climate that augments the quantity of sugar in grapes, while the mild precipitation in the mount located in the heart of Vojvodina valley and the moderate continental climate differ this region from others. The first wines were planted here 1700 years ago during the rule of the Roman Emperor Probus from ancient Sirmium. This is why this area is one of the oldest wine regions in Europe. Turkish seizure has almost destroyed wine-making in Srem, but the dawn took place during the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Half of the vineyards have the dominating sort of grape, the Italian „Riesling“ which is said to be indigenous sort, as well as bermet, the wine that was served at Titanic. More than 60 wineries are located under the sun of this region.

You will finish your tour of this charming town with a visit and wine tasting at one the region’s most prominent wineries.
Sightseeing: Novi Sad
Further on the tour, you will visit the 2021 European Capital of Culture, Novi Sad. Located on the historical border of two former empires – the Austro-Hungarian and Ottoman – as a result, the capital of Vojvodina is a multi-cultural city with an interesting mix of architectural influences. On a sightseeing tour around the city, you will walk around the city’s pedestrian zone, past the City Hall, a Catholic church, the old city centre, the former house of Albert Einstein’s wife Mileva, the cultural foundation Matica Srpska and a synagogue. Then you’ll follow the right bank of Danube and visit Petrovaradin, or the so-called ‘Danube’s Gibraltar’, where the fortress is located. In this lovely ambience with a wonderful view of Danube and the entire city, you will have your meal with before heading back to Belgrade.

Day 4

Experience: Wooden-town Movie Projection

Breakfast and check out.

Morning departure from Belgrade, heading west towards the picturesque Ovčar-Kablar Gorge, through which the West Morava river meanders.

After being immersed in breath-taking nature passing through Tara National Park, you will arrive at the enchanting ethno village Drvengrad (Wooden Town), built by famous movie director Emir Kusturica. The village, which includes the Mećavnik Hotel, houses, galleries, shops, a cinema and a church, is made of natural materials (mostly wood) and resembles a fairy tale scenery. Since 2008, the village is a host to the annual Küstendorf Film and Music Festival and Drvengrad has been visited by the likes of Johnny Depp, Monica Belucci, Jim Jarmusch and many others. Enjoy the film projection and tasting local pastry and home made juices.
Sightseeing: Višegrad

The tour continues to Bosnia and Herzegovina and a short drive takes you to Višegrad, where Emir Kusturica used his imagination and creativity to build Andrićgrad (also known as Stone Town).

It is a cultural centre with numerous buildings and facilities built on the banks of the Drina River near the famous bridge (a monument under the protection of UNESCO). The bridge is referenced in the title of Ivo Andrić’s novel The Bridge on the Drina and in honour of the Nobel Prize winning author, Kusturica’s town was called Andrićgrad (literally translated as Andrić’s Town). In Andrićgrad, the tour will stop for lunch at an unusual restaurant called Zlatna Moruna, the interior of which is decorated with frescoes by well-known artist Bisenija Tereščenko.

Drive to Sarajevo, capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and hotel check-in. Get ready for a delicious dinner.

Day 5

Sightseeing: Sarajevo

Breakfast.

After breakfast, Sarajevo sightseeing tour starts, covering all the main sights including: Vijećnica or Sarajevo City Hall, the building of which was finished during the Austro-Hungarian period; the old downtown of the city called Baščaršija; the historical and cultural centre of Sarajevo with authentic shops and souqs from the Ottoman era; the Orthodox Church from the 16th century; the Gazi Husrev-bey mosque; the Sahat Tower from the 17th century; and the first public toilet in Europe. Next you will head on to the Latin Bridge where Gavrilo Princip shot the successor to the Austro-Hungarian throne Franz Ferdinand, consequently starting the First World War. After crossing the bridge, you will reach Bezistan, a market complex from the 16th century, and then on to the main pedestrian zone Ferhadiya with the Sarajevo Synagogue from 1580 and a Catholic cathedral from 1881.
Experience: Home Hosted Cooking Class
Later on, get ready for the unique experience. You have surely heard about the incredibly warm hospitality of Bosnians, and now you will have the opportunity to be a guest in their home and prepare an authentic three-course dinner using the freshest, local ingredients and authentic recipes. Enjoy traditional drinks, Bosnian coffee, Herzegovina wine or plum brandy in a joyous and happy atmosphere. Spend your time learning about the history and culture of Bosnia while enjoying the conversation with a local, Bosnian family that will happily share the secrets of Bosnian cuisine and the preparation of meals that have been passed down by generations and generations in history.
