Day 1

Ljubljana Arrival

Upon arrival in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, you will be welcomed by your driver and escorted to your hotel.

Experience: Ljubljana Sightseeing on a Bicycle

Is there a better way to explore a green capital but the eco-friendly way? Grab you bicycle and start spinning around this incredible place. Discover unique city’s highlights as well as the romantic corners and riverbanks and hidden gems of Ljubljana. Listen to the amazing stories behind all of the sites and enjoy in the fresh breeze and green parks of the Slovenian capital.

Experience: Funicular Railway Ride & Ljubljana Castle

This is not all for the afternoon. After you leave your bicycles, get on a Funicular Railway and climb up the Castle Hill. Enjoy the remarkable view of the capital and its surrounding in the glass walled car. Embrace the serenity of the lush green landscapes and stroll down the promenade in the pleasant shade of canopies, built on the remains of the former fortress. Discover the secrets, hidden behind the castle walls and listen to the interesting stories of the area.

Day 2

Sightseeing: Bled Lake

After breakfast, drive to Bled. This alpine lake with its beautiful island (the most photographed sight in Slovenia) has been a world renowned paradise for centuries, impressing visitors with its natural beauty, wealth of legend and reported special powers believed to help restore wellbeing.

Activity: Kayaking Adventure

You are outdoors, so get your equipment, kayak and start paddling with your teammate. On this exciting adventure you will get to the unbelievable viewpoints along the Sava Dolinka River, unreachable in any other way.

Gastronomy: Brunch & Krempita Tasting

After burning some calories, it’s time for brunch and tasting the famous Bled cream cake. Rest your soul looking at the picture-postcard in front of you – emerald green mountain lake, decorated with island and a church in the center of it.

Experience: Postojna Cave & Predjama Castle

Continue toward spectacular limestone Postojna Cave. Inside of it, you will see incredible stalactites, stalagmites, limestone pools, subterranean gorges and underground waterfalls. The most popular Slovenian tourist attraction, the cave is a definite must-see on your trip through Slovenia. If you are into more adventurous tour, let us know and we will prepare a caving tour through the closed parts of this Underground Queen.

The world of the Knights, Predjama Castle is only couple of kilometres away of the Cave. Explore the impregnable medieval castle built in the 123 meters high cliff. It is hiding the whole web of underground tunnels that once served as a priceless way of escape.

Return to Ljubljana. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Activity: Lipica Stud Farm – Horse Riding

For an absolutely unique equestrian experience, tour the original stud farm of one of the oldest cultural horse breeds – The Lipizzan horse breed. Established in 1580, the Lipica farm demonstrates the haute ecole or “high school” movements of classical dressage, in an ethereally beautiful setting of pastures and meadows. Travel back in time as you discover a period in history when the horse was considered an ideal and it represented a crucial strategic advantage. This tour would be the perfect tour for animal lovers! The history of Lipica Stud Farm is so rich that it tells a thousand different stories of cultural and natural heritage. Combine that with scenic nature and the beauty of the horses in the pastures, and you have a recipe for a relaxed and enjoyable day.

Experience: Picnic Lunch & Slovenia Vintage Gourmet Tour

Think about sampling the highest quality olive oil variations and magical Istrian dishes surrounded by untouched nature. Ride in the classic old-timer cars of the flower power generation along the scenic coastal road past vineyards and olive groves, while seeing Slovenia’s panoramic coast and stunning Adriatic sea. Learn about the wide range of applications of olive oil for cosmetic and industrial purposes and test natural beauty products made from olive pits. The combination of flavorful Istrian dishes such as the minestrone soup with corn, the sound of nature and the lush vegetation will enrich all of your senses and recharge your batteries.

Sightseeing: Piran - "Museum town"

Continue to Piran. This town is actually a large museum with its medieval architecture and rich cultural heritage. Narrow streets and cramped houses give the town a special charm. After exploring the small yet delightful Tartini Square, climbing to the Cathedral of Saint George and wonderful view from the top of the hill will further add to your feeling that Piran is a special place.
The day ends in Poreč. Hotel check in, dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Experience: Truffle Hunting Experience in Istria

How many times have you dined at a beautiful restaurant to find “Pasta with Truffles” on the menu? This incredible delicacy is one of the chef’s favorites at a large number of upscale restaurants and rightfully so. The taste of these mushrooms is delicious and distinguished, they are not easily found, and they complement pasta beautifully. Learn about one of the most expensive specialties in the world and join a hunt alongside hosts and well-trained dogs to discover these hidden treasures together. After the hunt, enjoy a hearty meal!

Sightseeing: Pula

Your next stop will be Pula, a beautiful town possessing a wealth of historical sites and examples of Roman architecture. The star of the show is the remarkably well preserved Roman amphitheatre, the 6th biggest Roman coliseum in the world. The Temple of Augustus, the Triumphal Arch of Sergius, the Twin Gates and other sites of the old town will make you feel like you have stepped back in time.

Experience: Rovinj Sightseeing with Wine Tasting

For the afternoon, we have an incredible wine tasting option available in the charming town of Rovinj, complete with a selection of five wines and numerous homemade tapas accompanying it. The Dobravac Wine Estate will enchant you, as will the tour around Rovinj allowing you to see the town itself, but also the view of the open sea and many islets in the distance. The medieval streets and Mediterranean climate of Rovinj, combined with the superb offer of natural wines with fruity, floral and spicy notes will make this trip a unique and relaxing experience.
Return to Poreč. Dinner and overnight.

Day 5

Experience: Fish farm visiting with Sea Bass Tasting

Breakfast and check out.
After a short rest, the Sarajevo sightseeing tour will start, covering all the main sights including: Vijećnica or Sarajevo City Hall, the building of which was finished during the Austro-Hungarian period; the old downtown of the city called Bashcharshiya; the historical and cultural centre of Sarajevo with authentic shops and souqs from the Ottoman era; the Orthodox Church from the 16th century; the Gazi Husrev-bey mosque; the Sahat Tower from the 17th century; and the first public toilet in Europe. Next you will head on to the Latin Bridge where Gavrilo Princip shot the successor to the Austro-Hungarian throne Franz Ferdinand, consequently starting the First World War. After crossing the bridge, you will reach Bezistan, a market complex from the 16th century, and then on to the main pedestrian zone Ferhadiya with the Sarajevo Synagogue from 1580 and a Catholic cathedral from 1881.
Drive to Ljubljana’s airport. End of services.
