After getting to know all the must-see sights, it’s time to discover a true taste of Belgrade and to participate in local routine and daily rituals.

We will start with a morning coffee in a local charming café at Cara Dušana Street in famous Dorćol quarter. Coffee drinking is a ritual for locals that lets them enjoy a cup of energizing coffee and dynamic chitchat. At the coffee bar you will enjoy some good quality coffee prepared in Serbian manner and, in case you like it, purchase some for warming memories!

After a dose of caffeine, stop by an old family bakery, a holy place for Serbs – and get some fresh bread for upcoming cheese tasting. Head to the Bajloni market, one of the oldest green markets in Belgrade. The entire place is covered with the scent of rural Serbia, so you can almost see the villages, cattle and gardens where vegetables and fruits are grown.

The tour continues on the best manner possible: sweetened up in the oldest traditional pastry shop in Dorćol quarter. It is a chance to try sweets that will demonstrate you rich Balkan heritage: Serbian basis with influences of Oriental and European cuisine.

You are ready for the “main star” of a tour: new hot place in gastronomic stage of Belgrade – the restaurant whose menu represents the synergy of traditional grown groceries, new technologies of preparation and unique form of presentation. Day 3

Experience: Hiking in Fruška Gora with Picnic Lunch
Head toward Fruška Gora National Park. As it used to be an island in the Pannonian Sea, Fruška Gora has turbulent geological past and is reach in fossils and has incredible variety of flora and fauna. Along with beautiful nature this mountain is a guardian of great cultural and historical legacy. It hosts 17 functioning monasteries of Serbian Orthodox Church and this is why it is known as the Serbian Mount Athos. Start your hiking through the nature of National Park that ends in Zmajevac, near Novo Hopovo Monastery. In the middle of this green paradise, enjoy your picnic lunch. The monastery is built in the 15th century and represents a unique architectural idea; it was built in Morava style from stone and brick. Hopovo preserves the relic of Theodore of Amasea, Saint and first patron of Venice. In the 16th century this place represented the most important enlightenment center in Serbia: famous Serbian cultural and philological figure Dositej Obradović lived and worked here.

After being immersed in the lush greenery of NP Fruška Gora, proceed to Sremski Karlovci, the small city represents the true gemstone of Serbian culture and spirituality. The Baroque town centre, Patriarchy, Cathedral of Saint Nicolas and first Serbian Gymnasium – all this make Sremski Karlovci a “museum town”. It is also famous for wine production and this is why you will visit a traditional winery and taste some honey and local sort of wine call bermet – special aromatized sweet wine that has a traditional production process.

Further on the tour, you will visit the 2021 European Capital of Culture, Novi Sad. Located on the historical border of two former empires – the Austro-Hungarian and Ottoman – as a result, the capital of Vojvodina is a multi-cultural city with an interesting mix of architectural influences. On a sightseeing tour around the city, you will walk around the city’s pedestrian zone, past the City Hall, a Catholic church, the old city centre, the former house of Albert Einstein’s wife Mileva, the cultural foundation Matica Srpska and a synagogue. Then you’ll follow the right bank of Danube and visit Petrovaradin, or the so-called ‘Danube’s Gibraltar’, where the fortress is located. Enjoy this lovely ambience with a wonderful view of Danube and the entire city before heading back to Belgrade.

Transfer to the Belgrade airport for an evening flight to Tivat (MNE). Overnight in Kotor, Boka Bay, Budva or vicinity.

Day 5

Experience: Lovćen – Nature and History Tour

Breakfast.

The Lovćen massif area is considered to be one of the most important places in Montenegrin culture and history. Just getting there feels like a unique experience: the stunning view of the Boka Bay will leave you in awe, while driving up the old, Austro-Hungarian 25-serpentine-road. First stop for the day is Njeguši, the village known as the birth place of the royal dynasty Petrović and a ‘guardian’ of the authentic architecture and cuisine in the region. Njeguški sir and pršut (cheese and prosciutto of Njeguši) are both genuine contributions to Montenegrin cuisine, produced only in this area, following the traditional recipe for smoking and curing meat.

After tasting the most famous specialties of the region, drive to National Park Lovćen. On top of one of the mountain’s two imposing peaks, lies a magnificent mausoleum – the tomb of Montenegro’s greatest person in history: Petar Petrović II Njegoš. It takes many steps to climb to reach it and at the same time, it is a great adventure. The journey is well worth the effort – you will be rewarded with a spectacular viewpoint from the world’s highest mausoleum.

During one hour, you will explore the cave’s beautiful and wild system of 2.5 km long trails and halls, splendid cave ornaments and learn some fun facts about the cave itself and its surroundings.
Sightseeing: St Stefan Island Photo Stop

Back on the sunny surface, drive to the hotel. You will have a short photo-break right above the islet of St. Stefan, an emerald of Montenegro.
